Project 52 – Patterns

This week’s Project 52 theme is Patterns.  Getting pattern or texture to convey a feeling is an interesting challenge.  Autumn is here and this picture makes me want to reach in and snuggle up!  The repetitive patten in the yarn is slightly irregular, so you can almost feel how thick and soft this chunky, cosy blanket would be (and visitors in my guest room are welcome to try it out for a cuddle!).  I will be posting my Project 52 photos here each week, as well as sharing to the LSP Facebook Page from time to time, and (of course) posting at the Ellenburg Photography Project 52 Flickr Group. ~ Laura

 

Client Preview Album – Ron and Family

Ron’s family photo preview album is now live on my website at the client viewer subpage with a sampling of the full e-album. Note: client albums are password protected. Preview albums are a sample of the images and post-production styles before the DVD is finalised, and clients are more than welcome to share their pictures (and their passwords) with friends and family. Photos are fun and everyone always wants to see the pictures as quickly as possible – even if it is a just a little preview.  You can also find a few more low-resolution sneak peaks on my Facebook Page, and in case you missed it, in the “sneak preview” post.  ~Laura

Project 52 – From Trees

This week’s Project 52 theme is From Trees.  Since I missed last week’s theme, I have decided to share two different “From Trees” pictures this week, showing both beauty and bounty.  How amazing are the colours in these autumn leaves against the bright blue sky?  This is straight from the camera (other than a quick resize and watermark) from my lighting checks before shooting portraits on Sunday.  The portraits are being edited for the preview album and I can’t wait to share more.

Supermoon

Thanks to Ron from yesterday’s portrait session for reminding me to check out the supermoon.  Moon shots aren’t my “thing”, but I still couldn’t resist attempting a quick shot of the supermoon from our yard yesterday evening.  ~Laura
